Silicone rubber is generally non-reactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments and temperatures. Silicone Rubber is used in applications where physical properties are not critical but extreme temperature resistance is required.
This rubber has the most resistance to high temperatures of all rubber sheets, has great UV and ozone resistance, and is very good resistance to mold, acetic acid, gas ammonia (hot and cold), oil, sulfur lime, methyl ether, and sodium sulfate .
